Fiore Longsword Seminar w/ Bob Charron in Colorado
A bit late notice, but better late than never...

The Rocky Mountain Historical Combat Guild is hosting a seminar with Bob Charron on

Principles of Fiore's Longsword: Armed and Unarmed Applications

Date: April 2 & 3, 2005
Times: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Location: Colorado State University, Fort Collins, CO

Cost: $80 for RMHCG members, $90 for non-members

Attendance will be limited to 30 individuals. Required gear includes a longsword waster and a 3-weapon fencing mask or equivalent head & face protection.

Open to everyone, this seminar is oriented towards exploring the principles of Fiore's unarmoured longsword plays by implementing them first as unarmed striking plays and then as armed plays of the longsword. This exploration of the underlying concepts should be invaluable to martial artists from any tradition, as well as those interested in historical western combative principles.

Further information on the seminar or reserving a spot can be had by contacting Keith Nelson (kenelson@colostate.edu) or going to the RMHCG website:

Thanks,
Keith Nelson

Dash it all, Keith! Untill I joined the Army, I lived just east of Fortified Collins, and now I'm not there for this. Oh well, can't have it all.

Have fun with your "do," and if you have to do any dealing with the Director of Parking Services over there, say hi for me.
