Hello all I am new to this site and looking for some know how. I am wanting to make a wooden version of a sword from a book I have read. I need to figure out how best to measure the length of a scimitar in comparison to my height. I know that the sword is used mainly for slashing and parrying. Lots of spinning and crazy angles. I just can't seem to figure out what length would be best for someone who is 5 foot 4 inches. Any ideas would be appreciated. Or even good sites to look at or books to read.
