Christian,
I've been admiring your Venetian sidesword. I noticed that the pommel nut looks more like historical pieces. Is it essentially a modified version of one of Gus's standards? If so, would you consider modifying ATrim pommel nuts on other swords, much in the same way that you offer the hex nut version?

Yes, it's a reshaped standard Atrim nut. Offering that as an option does seem like a good idea, doesn't it? I'll see what I can do....

That's awesome, Christian. I've been thinking of sending you one of my blades to get the hex nut pommel on it, but I keep wondering if I'll like it in the long run that way. If it were more historical looking, I wouldn't hesitate.
It's a longsword, though, and I'm not sure what would look good for a pommel nut since most longswords tend to have the peening flush with the pommel. Any creative ideas?
