Citadel Roman Mainz gladius
This listing has been REMOVED and is no longer active

This sword was custom made for me by Citadel of Cambodja, best known for their katana blades and expert swordmakers. The blade is marked with their stamp on the tang as not to mar the blade, Roman blades of this era did not have makers marks.
It is a Mainz Roman Gladius, variaty Sisak, grip is bone, pommel and guard local light hardwood, the measurements and design conforming to archeological data, original blade from the Guttman collection. The typical guardplate set into the guard is copper alloy. The leather over wood scabbard is a good fit but has no fittings. The sword has never been used and blade is in prispine condition.
Reason for selling is I am moving my personal collection into a different timeperiod, Late Roman and Migration era.

Asking price for this unique and one of a kind Citadel sword is Euro €900 or USA $1000 excluding shipping by insured registered mail or courier (buyers choice).

Paypall is prefered means of payment, as this offers buyer protection.
