Bugei has put up a new forum
Just as a fwiw. Recently Bugei Trading asked me to dump their old discussion board and start up a new one. I had a lot of discussions with both James Williams and Jesse Wilhoite (the quieter principal of Bugei trading) about the new forum, what it would be, and what it would allow. The focus is on the Japanese style swords as well as to some extent a support forum for Bugei's customers. But since Bugei's primary client base is the serious martial arts community, the decision was made to require real names and to actively discourage the anime/fantasy/wannabeninjawarriorsamurai kinda stuff we've seen in the past on that forum as well as others. Everyone was quite tired of the direction many on-line forums were taking. And I must say James was quite impressed with this board, its focus, the people in charge, and the quality of the posts. So in a way, we're emulating this place.

Anyway, I just wanted to invite people over to look, read, register and enjoy.

Now I've just to figure out how Nathan did so much cool stuff here with this forum... Gotta get the spell checker implemented too... That's just too cool for words.
Acutally..
Actually Keith.... a spell checker isn't just too cool for words, its too cool for misspelled words :D
That's wonderful, Keith !

I'll be sure to sign up , lurk & learn *g* Mac
Thanks for coming by, Mac. In retrospect I probably should have done this announcement tomorrow when I finish some debugging. So the site is down for a little while as I tune a few things.

Anyway, stay tuned...
