Selling an early generation Prussian cavalry trooper sword model 1852.
Used condition: there is nothing loose but the guard and blade require a very thorough cleaning to remove the black spot that have formed everywhere. The handguard is marked with regimental numbers H.9.5.53 for 9th hussar, 5th squadron, weapon no 53. The blade is marked with a faint Solingen on the ricasso but you can still see the acceptance marks FW 60 for the year of issue of 1860 under the reign of Frederick-William 1.
The 2-ring scabbard however is from another unit (7 uhlan rgt) and strangely enough doesnt have a drag. It fits the sword well though.
Overall lenght : 40.5 / 103cm
Sword lenght : 40 / 102cm
