I have the following for sale. Each book is only US$5.
These will ship from New Zealand via Air Mail at cost, which is fairly reasonable. I'm happy to combine shipping on these, as well as with the other books I'll be listing soon.
Catalogue of rubbings of brasses and incised slabs (Victoria and Albert Museum), Muriel Clayton (London: Her Majesty's Stationery Office, 1979). Fair condition: Pages clean and unlined, some bumping to corners, back cover has crease line and indents, some shelf wear and creases to spine.
A complete guide to heraldry, A.C. Fox-Davies (NY: Bonanza Books, 1978). Hardback. Fair condition: Pages clean and unmarked, boards generally good but with shelf wear, dust jacket intact but has some tears, fading, and marks.
A knight and chivalry, Richard Barber (London: Cardinal, 1974) Fair condition: Pages clean and unmarked with age browning; cover and spine has some bumping and creases.
Arms and Armor: Notable acquisitions 1991-2002, Stuart W. Pyhrr, Donald J. LaRocca, & Morihiro Ogawa (NY: The Metropolitan Museum of Art & Yale University Press, 2002). Excellent condition with very minor shelf wear and very small bumping to corners.
Treasures from the Tower of London: An exhibition of arms and armour, A.V.B. Wilson & G.M. Wilson (London: Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts, University of East Anglia, 1982). Fair condition: pages clean and unmarked, save for inscription on inside front cover, cover has edge wear, some marks, and bumps to corners.
Peter Finer catalog 1999. Poor to fair condition: Pages generally clean and unmarked, cover scuffed, rubbed at edges, torn at upper front of spine and partially coming away from binding. Still an amazing collection of full-sized colour images.
Catalogue of rubbings of brasses; Arms and Armor: Notable acquisitions; and Treasures from the Tower of London are sold pending funds.
The other titles in this listing are just awaiting a response from an interested buyer, but if you want to be next in line, just shoot me a PM.
Other higher-end books to be listed soon.
I also have a copy of An historical guide to arms and armour by Stephen Bull.
This one is hardback in good condition overall. Pages are excellent, boards show some shelf wear and rubbing, dust jacket has some edge fading, bumping, and small tears.
$5 also.
The following are still available, for US$5 each:
An historical guide to arms and armour, Stephen Bull
A complete guide to heraldry, A.C. Fox-Davies
A knight and chivalry, Richard Barber
Still available!
The three titles above are still available.
I'd be happy to sell them together for US$10 - need to make room here, and would like to see them go to an appreciative home!
Still willing to sell the above three titles for $10. Please PM me if interested.
