My signatures
I had someone ask me about my signatures the other day. Most come from favorite songs of mine. The one before the newest came from the band Slipknot's song "Duality"- "You cannot kill what you did not create". The new one is from an oldie but goodie.... Jethro Tull's "Broadsword and the Beast" album...showing my age now..."Bring me my broadsword and clear understanding"... Here's a pic of the album cover, yes I said ALBUM.........

Ah memories. :D

I never cared for Jethro Tull but I loved that album cover!
Ohh Man
That does bring back memories. I had forgotten what the cover looked like. I'll have to see if I can find my copy. :D

But can you find anything to play it on?
You can borrow my turntable and any Jethro Tull album of mine you want! I have all their vinyl from the beginning through Rock Island.

Along the coast road by the headland
The early lights of winter glow.
I'll pour a cup for you my darling
And raise it up
Say cheerio!

Cheers!
I've got that album! It's ages since I listened to it, but the title track is easy to recall. Yeah, showing our age, Patrick (turning 40 in two weeks)...
:D I bet you guy's run around as kids and make that sound from Björn Skifs - Hooked on a feeling

Greetings Patrik, Having turned 44 last month, I take great pride in running around like my "grandchildren" making that sound. I still vividly remember the song too. ;) I know alot of 44's that can't. Living hard is living well. :D Sincerely, Patrick Fitzmartin

You think that's old; I remember the original version of that song  I just can't remember the name of the guy that sang it. I turned my oldest daughter onto Jethro Tull. She plays flute, so I'm always trying to find cool flute music to inspire her. It's really interesting; she and most of her friends are into 'classic rock' i.e. the stuff we grew up on. She hates most of the stuff that comes out today.
I get strange looks for being 43 and liking Slipknot....heck...I turned my 13 yr. old son onto them..

Funny but true story behind that fact.....We were at a gathering and some soccer mom heard me talking about Evan(my son, who is also darn good drummer for his age both rock & Scottish) listening to Slipknot..she looks at me and said "You let him listen to that"...? My response was "No..I make him listen to it"..she gave me a shocked looked and quickly walked away....... :wtf:
