It is a beautiful & very functional sword.
The Pommel & guard are steel. The grip is wood wrapped with leather
& half wrapped wire.

On the whole ... I have found this sword sturdy with tight fittings & no whippiness.
It would make a fine addition to any collection.

It has been displayed in my home its whole life.
I have been its only owner.
It is in excellent condition having been well maintained.
