Gothic maces "hilts" & grips
Im looking for photos showing details of "hilts" and grips of late 15th cen maces. That is when there is a grip of wood/leather/cord.

Does anyone have better photos of this one for instance? https://myArmoury.com/talk/viewtopic.php?t=5634

Attached photo (by Carl Koppeschaar) of details im looking for.

Guess ill have to reply with another find of my own of a bare mace grip. So was the hand guard slid on from the top or from the bottom?

You cal also go though online auctions on Hermann Historica - I use it quite often to check details; they also have a zoom-in function. If you go to their Antique Arms online catalogues, they have specific sections on axes and maces, like this one: http://www.hermann-historica.de/db2_en/auktio...ities.html (actually, it seems that all maces here have an all-iron, hollow handle, but maybe something could be find in older auctions)
These were in my files. No further info known.
