Hello,

I am looking for an early 18th Century (1720-1745) Scottish Flat Powder Horn. Something that I can use for a Jacobite/Independent Company Soldier impression.

It does not have to be heavily scrimshawed at all, in fact I would prefer it be quite plain just of the period in construction.

I would actually prefer to do some engraving on it myself. So if you know of a source for just a simple flat horn, that would be great.

Thanks in advance for any offers, advice, or suggestions.

Spence
