Hello,
I'm new to the forum and I apologize if I opened a new topic instead of posting into an existing one.
A friend of mine returned from the Middle East recently and brought back a silver Omani kattara sword. It was given as a gift by a member of the Oman royal family about 10 years ago. The blade is flexible (the dancing type). I'm not sure how old is this sword, how rare it is and any other info you might have about it. I'm thinking about buying it but don't know what a fair market value would be. I understand that I probably won't get a price here but just an idea of how rare and sought after it is would be appreciated. I'm attaching photos below. Thank you in advance for all your help.
