Scabbard problem
The scabbard on one of my swords is occasionally an utter bastard to unsheath, coming loose only after you try as hard as possible. Keeping in mind that I live in a tropical climate, is there anything I can do to curb this? I'd rather have it a bit loose than way too tight. :)

Cheers. :)
Breaking it down and sanding out the inside would be my first thought, but if humidity is going to be a constant problem this may (or may not) only prove to be a temporary solution. You could try setting it in front of a fan or something to air it out or maybe just try yelling at it and telling it to behave. You're not storing the sword in the scabbard are you? I sort of got that idea from the description. The same moisture that's collecting on and expanding the wood will surely be doing some magic to the blade if you are.
Good Luck!
Taylor
It's not my scabbard is it ?

Hi Art, no mate your is still as solid as always. :)
Taylor
Just wondered, I have had humidity affect some of my work before.
My solution was to place it next to the water heater for a few weeks, the warmest,
most dry place in the house.
Anyway, good luck !

Sincerely,
Art
