It's not that I would trade my lot
For any other man's,
Nor that I will be ashamed
Of my work torn hands-
For I have chosen the path I tread
Knowing it would be steep,
And I will take the joys thereof
And the consequences reap.

This is a really nice piece. Looks great, one of those weapons that gets my attention tho it's not a type or time I'm usually following. This is a great one.
I really like the rope edge and the etching in the scallop hilt. The handle looks perfect, you must have had to look around a bit to find antler that nice. Blade shape is awesome, I love the single-blade swords of all times.

This is a fine looking hanger. It would be a great piece particularly for those interested in the age of buccaneers with the scallop-shell guard. Classic.
