Michael Niero has an extensive collection of naval cutlasses. As to specific specifications, that may be hard to gather. An exceleent resource is Gilkerson's "boarder's Away" Ordering through the book section here credits this site.

thanks Glen,

excellent website, i have seen that many has blades ranging from 29 to 28 inches and i can figured out the width

i have planned to have a training version of the 1845-1889 pattern or may be the 1901 pattern
