Italian Armorers (Tuscany)
Hey everyone,

I will be around Tuscany, Italy doing some work next week.

Does anyone know of any armories in the area?
Looking to pick something up while I am there.
(Historically accurate, well balanced, etc...)

Maybe a nice Italian Rondel, Baselard, Rapier, etc...
Is there a quintessential Italian Medieval/Renaissance weapon which would be unique to pick-up?

Thanks!
None that I know of, unfortunately. There is Florence nearby, of course, which is very historical. Del Tin Armi Antiche is in the northeast, above Venice, if you want to try visiting there, in Maniago I believe.
I don't know about armouries, but if you can possibly find a few hours, pay San Gimignano a visit (if you don't know of it, it is a small walled medieval Tuscan town which was home to rich saffron merchants , who displayed their wealth by building surprisingly high towers on their houses, some of which are still standing, along with many other medieval buildings).
