Can't work out why this was moved to "Off Topic".
Surely it deals with the construction of an "Historic" sword.
Seems historical to me, and I thank you for sharing. It is indeed among the most historic swords crafted & presented in the 20th century... I must admit that the video also turned me onto a related video on the making of Wedgewood pottery in the UK from 1958 or so, and that was also particularly fascinating... Cheers!

Nice forging segment. I've never seen a strap hammer or board hammer used for anything but single blow coining or closed die operations. I've always though they were a great bit of mechanical ingenuity, very cool to see one used for forging a blade, and from very stout parent stock I should add.
