I have a set of 16th century arm and shoulder armor that is missing an elbow and some rivets. I would like to have a replacement elbow made and have some pieces reconnected. Does anyone know of a good and trustworthy smith here in the US that does this type of work?

Thanks,
Casey

Hello Casey,

I would get in touch with Wade Allen if I were you. He's located in the states and has quite a collection of original late medieval and renaissance armament. I'm sure he could provide you with great advice. Cheers!

I would suggest Craig Johnson at Arms and Armor or Josh Davis at Davis Reproductions.
Good luck !
Tim
