For Sale: Jody Samson, Custom Seaward Sword
This listing is marked SOLD and is no longer available

Jody made this sword for me over a year ago. I asked him to make me a Seaward sword that was the same as his personal Seaward sword that is now in a private collection. According to Jody, there are only two Seaward swords that have this blade style with bronze fittings and were personally made by him. This sword is signed and dated custom piece and not a production version. It IS a collectors item. The blade is not sharp, but Jody has agreed to personally sharpen it for the standard $25 fee. It does not have a scabbard.

I just wanted to say that if I had the money; you would have a deal!
Spectacular sword at an unbeatable price!
I will be green with envy at whoever snatches this up.
unfortunately other projects and commitments keep my money on different routs...
I am still surprised this lasted one day up for sale!
Best wishes!
(and a friendly -bump- to help this sword find a worthy home)

Stats and More Pictures
This listing is marked SOLD and is no longer available

Leif took some more pictures of this sword for me and we also got some stats off of it.

So here is the run down:

Blade: 1075, expertly hollowground by Jody Samson and heat treated right here at Albion
Fittings: Hand carved waxes by Jody Samson, and then cast in bronze and then antiqued by Jody
Grip: Dyed rawhide over a stabilized wooden core
Weight: 3 pounds 9 oz. The sword is balanced so well that it does not feel like it is over 3 pounds.
Blade Length: 30"
Grip Length: approximately 11"

Here are some close up pictures:

Even though this sword is not sharp, Jody said he would personally sharpen it for the standard sharpening fee ($25). It does not come with a scabbard.
