Does anyone have any experiences of Marco Danelli swords, especially the custom rapiers. He is based in the UK.

Thanks folks. I had already watched the video, that's actually what started my interest in Marcos work.

I do intend to order one in the next few days. I was just looking for comments from folks that had owned and used his swords for months to years time period. So far he seems to reply quickly to e-mails and by the look of his blades they seem to be of a high standard.

I´ve heard nothing but good things about his work and customerservice.
I´ve handled a couple of his blades and i liked them very much.

i have a ribbon hilt from him and it is a really nice work, with excellent handling

I have a schiavona that i have been routinely using for a couple of years, it is a fantastic sword and has stood up to regular use in steel on steel practice with minimal maintenance from me. I've linked the short review I did on the sword.

A number of knowledgeable people from down this way have handled the schiavona and all have admired it for performance and appearance.

I also have one his basic swords that I use for I.33 and again the balance is excellent.

I'm planning on a Highland Broadsword commission with Marco later this year.

Whether that makes me a fan or biased, you decide!

Just received an e-mail today, they are booked up until December. I guess theres a lot of folks out there that also think very highly of the Danelli swords.

I also confirm the high class of Marco Danelli's works.
