Here I go biting another bullet....

$200 for everything, including shipping in CONUS. PayPal. Contact me via PM.
Will consider full or partial trade for replica 16 or 17th century arms & armour, including, but not limited to:
MRL companion dagger for their German Rapier
MRL Italian Burgonet

This is a complete set that displays beautifully. It's ready for your mantle, bookshelf or CSA impression.

The sword (maker unknown but possibly Windlass Steelcrafts) is a replica of a Leech & Rigdon (aka Memphis Novelty Works) “floating CS” staff and field officer’s sword (see original in the first photo below--the second photo shows my sword in-progress). The replica typically sells new for $100-$140, but with an inaccurate grip. I have modified the grip, with new carving to bring the spiral up under the pommel cap, wrapped with real leather and rebound the grip with wire. I don't know how the grip wrap would stand up to serious use, but I suspect it'll be fine. If not, the wood of the grip is antiqued and looks great without a wrap. I re-peened the hilt to make it good and tight and antiqued the entire weapon and steel scabbard.

The exceptional and accurate replica CSA officer's sword belt, by C.D. Jarnagin, sells new for $95. Mine is russet and features the two-piece, tongue-and-wreath “CS” buckle (L&R or Richmond Depot pattern). The belt also features the correct sword hangers, hook for dismounted carry and shoulder strap. The belt was worn by its previous owner and is fully broken-in.

The sword knot, maker unknown, is top-quality and typically sells for around $30.

This link shows the completed project, with new leather wrap and wire. Notice the close shot of the blade, which turned out very well:

The following link shows this sword at the half-completed stage, re-peened, antiqued and with new grip carving and antiqued wood, but without the final wrap. The grip looks outstanding without the wrap. Very similar to an antique U.S. Model 1860 Light Cav. Saber in my collection.

The last two photos below show one end of the custom-built display stand and the entire displayed weapon, with belt.

Release your inner general!
