Search : Viking blades with inlayed design on it
Hello gentlemen. A few days before i found a site on the Inet that showed illustrated pictures of viking sword blades with inlays and designs on the blade (no damast or laid steel, nor the ingleri or the +ulfberth+ ones)). I was unable to find it again...

Maybe someone knows this site or has some pics for me ?

Thanks a lot in advance !!!
Do you mean like this one? (Scroll down to see photos of the original) http://www.myArmoury.com/talk/viewtopic.php?p...ht=#248897
Hi Craig. Thanks for your help. But it was more an illustration of inlayed viking blades. Black and white and there were just simple patter on the blade - like a bunch of tips inlayed in the fuller towards the blade tip.
If you're looking for one particular image it's sometimes worthwhile to search Pinterest, since you can often find users interested in something quite specific (like antique viking swords) and who will do a better job of sorting through images for the real thing than if you simply search with Google.
Thanks. I will look there. There were many images. Vety interestung. To bad i didn't keep it....
There are several articles in the online library of vikingsword.com
http://www.vikingsword.com/document.html

The Serpent In The Sword by Lee Jones is possibly what you have seen..

They contain many of the images/illustrations shared and in use since their publication. Viking Sword was my first late 1990s foray into online discussions and information.

Cheers
