For Sale: Valiant Armoury Praetorian Gladius
This listing is marked SOLD and is no longer available

Price: $260US shipped in Canada and US

Purchased this beautiful take on the early republic era gladius by Valiant Armoury several years ago from KoA, and had it on display the entire time. Sword was oiled at all times, and is in excellent condition; it has never been swung at anything, and the blade edge is in perfect condition. Blade is sharp! If you order one from Valiant Armoury now, you will have to wait 4-6 weeks to get one as Sonny makes each sword on a made to order basis.

Scabbard is made from leather with brass accents. There are few very minor scuffs on the scabbard, though nothing that would stand out from more than an arm's length away.

Sword stats as per Valiant Armoury are as follows:

This Sword is Hand Forged form 1060 Steel
The Total Sword length is 27 3/4"
Sword Blade length: 20"
Sword Handle: 3 7/8" Walnut and Brass
Sword Weight: 2 lbs 5 oz
Pommel: Threaded

Selling this sword because I have another one of similar style by another maker, so I am selling it for no other reason than to make room for other swords of different styles for my collection.

Will ship to Canada and US for free; overseas buyers must pay additional shipping charges. PM for quote to your country.

Payment is via PayPay invoice I prepare so that both buyer and seller get protection through PayPal should anything go awry.

I declare all my items truthfully to customs, at full value. I will absolutely NOT undervalue my items on the customs form, so please do not ask.

Any questions, do not hesitate to ask!

Thanks for looking!

Forgot to add a photo to the initial listing. The pommel nut has some teeth marks on it, I'm assuming from being put on or taken off or whatever, though I have never personally taken this sword apart. I think it came like that when I first purchased it, though I am not 100% positive on this since it's been several years.
