Hello, I am very new to the world of historical arms and armor, but I find it very interesting. I am particularly interested in Irish arms. I am looking to purchase a replica Irish knife, that could still be used for (at least somewhat) practical self-defense, and whose blade is not too long. I live in California, and so I must abide by their laws, so please keep that in mind. Also, I am planning on moving to Ireland, so the laws there may need also apply, but that is of less importance.
