Knife (Hauswehr, Messer ?) identification
Dear Community,

We found these artefacts during a metaldetector field survey campaign (Eötvös Lóránd Science Univ.) in a fortification of unknown age -loose stone ramparts, looks iron age- in NE Hungary. With some ceramics from the 13/14th Century. The little knife was common in the earlier times, the horseshoe could be dated in a wide time period, but what about the long knife? Help!!! :)

looks like late 15th or early 16th century bauernwehr. From my voyages to Hungary these were quite common all over the northern part of Hungary at that period.
What is the bullet-shaped object?
Thank you!

The bullet-shaped object is a bullet :) from WWII.
Henrik, I wrote a PM to you on FB, it'll be in your message requests folder. But that doesn't stop me from posting it here as well :)

The two rivets on the back of the hilt is more often used on 16-17th century originals, at least according to Hermann Historica, and there's an original similar to this one, pic attached (rightmost).
