Sword
Another work of art!
Really great looking piece of work! Which warrior wouldn't want this
Walrus ivory is probably my favourite as sword hilt. [the colour goes so well with golden inlaid and black]

With Norse settlers in Greenland we are into viking age times, but trade with Sami/Bjarmi people in the arctic occurred earlier.
So does anyone know when and where is the first historical sword with walrus ivory hilt from??
Hi Robert
Fantastic workmanship as usual really like this example of your work love the hilt and the scabbard is an work of art,
Thank you for posting
Another masterpiece Robert! Your work gets better all the time. This si a sword fit for a king! Gorgeous!
Utterly stunning
Thank you.
Wow, the relief of the gold work has a clear separation between background and foreground elements.
