Gorgeous work! I really love the bold, clean lines and subtle decorative detail of these swords, and this is a very handsome specimen of the type. The slightly rough finish is a great touch, too.
That looks freakin' awesome. That is a true masterpiece. You deserve to be very proud. :D .......McM
Beautiful work Maciej. Glad you decided to share with us.
One of the best reproductions I have seen.

The detail work is among the best I have seen.

Thank you for sharing this with us
Thank you all.
Mikko - about this slightly rough finish - yes, I think this is very important that the swords should have something like human touch and time marks, slightly usage marks... - in my opinion these gives them the character. also - as we know - there was no two identhical swords in middle ages.
that why I prefere hand finishing - not by machine, which is simply artificial.
Very impressive and beautiful work.
Seems you really got a dream job these last two years, so many thanks for sharing :D
yes Niels, you can say that :) thanks!
This is my favorite of the three you have posted, but it is a hard choice and they are all very well done. It is nice to see another good maker.
Really good although I would like to see the beaded wire between the pommel and upper guard. I think it adds a lot to the original...
Thank you.
yes Tim, about the wire on the pommel you are right.
I have this in plans but not on this sword - it is already not mine :)
Hi Maciej.
Great looking sword like the hilt love the inlay an job well done an true masterpiece thanks for posting
Wow, at 1500g and center of gravity at 14.5 cm it sounds like quite a beast.

How would you say it handles, if possible?
thank you Jerry :)
Bartek - actually it is not the sword in my type :) I prefer something like my "early longsword" for fencing training.
about the handling of this sword - it is true powerfull war tool.
when you cut strong - you have to use right technique of handling for this type of pommel... hard to describe to me and my poor English :)
I haven't been on the forum in awhile, so I missed this. It is a beautiful piece.
great work.

kc
Now that is a beauty...!

oliver s.
