I have always liked the look of Albion's Kragehul and the Migration D, so I certainly hope that there will be replacements in the NG lineup.

Yes, there will be -- but I cannot say when. Peter is quite overwhelmed right now with the 30+ models in development, but I know he has several models in mind for Celtic through Migration/Anglo-Saxon swords.

Best,

Howy

And a point to keep in mind re: new models, limited editions and sales----

I think sales *now* will largely determine the "if" and "when" the other stuff gets made....

Hence the limited editions and "retirement" of models. The more people actually buy the models they like *now*, the more likely the models they would *like* to see actually get produced.

That's my .02 from a former "fence rider" and speculator, who sure wants to see the Early Iron Age stuff get produced Happy

N

PS
Just got my NG Jarl the other day. Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

There are definite advantages to the "buy now" by credit card plan. Having a fine sword in hand very, very good!! Much better than looking at many nice drawings!!!

I have to apologise -- we are still in the voting process. There were so many entries (over 200 just for these 4 swords) -- not to mention so many good ones -- that I had a hard time making a list and only got it out to the judges this weekend.

Soon, though.

Best,

Howy

And the winners are...

Great contest and a lot of great names -- very hard to choose just one... we'll just have to make more sword models I guess!
