Recently I've custom ordered a 13 century style falchion from Peter Regenyei with James G. Elmslie's help on historical accurate blade shape and taper.
When I first receive it, it feel heavy to me. But it make sense as I never hold an actual blade before(cheap wallhanger doesn't count apparently), after 3 days of practice with it. It start to feel lighter and easier to wield.

The weight is somewhat around 1.180g to 1.200g
The POB is 3.5 inches away from crossguard
The taper is pretty good too, 4.5-6mm at base and eventually 2mm near the tip.
Though I do have the grip slightly longer for allowing two-handling as well.
Regenyei's sharpening work is pretty well done, at the hand of beginner such as me. I do manage to cut some plastic bottles.
