For Sale: Christian Fletcher/Gus Trim XIIIa L.S. & Scabb
This listing is marked SOLD and is no longer available

For sale is a custom Christian Fletcher/Angus Trim Type XIIIa and scabbard. I had this made about eight years ago by CF as a present to myself. The sword has never been used to cut anything. It is VERY sharp, however, I just never wanted to risk damaging it. The pommel, guard, and scabbard hardware have an antiqued finish. The sword fits perfectly in it's hardwood scabbard. It is not too snug, but not loose either... Overall, this sword has seen very little handling (mainly oiling the blade) and has lived most of it's life as a wall-hanger. It is in excellent condition.

Reason for selling: Baby (#3) coming in about three weeks and I need the cash.

$800 obo. PM me if interested.

Hi all,

I have had a few questions regarding the blade length, grind etc... And sorry, I should have put this in the original post :-(

Here is a quick rundown:

The blade is 37.5" long.
2 1/16" wide at the hilt.
1 1/2" wide where the fuller ends.
The fuller is 25 1/2" long.
Flat grind.
The grip is 9" long (full two handed grip)
The guard is 8 3/16" wide
Pommel is 1 3/4" diameter, 1 1/8" thick.
The grip is wire-wrapped hardwood with a stretched leather overlay

The weight is unknown (right now). I will try to get it on a scale later today, but I can say it is light/well balanced and is not difficult to handle one handed.
