In case there are some airgunners out there, I'll offer this here as a trade for certain blades/swords I'd like to have.
I got this Crosman 2300T this winter for a "shootout" with a Crosman 1377. It's fantastically accurate after the trigger work, as is the 1377. For the kind of shooting I do, including cold and hot weather, I decided to keep the 1377. So, here's the 2300T with a 2300S brake, a standard trigger job and a two-pistol combination lock case.
The trigger work includes lightening the spring (which remains adjustable) and polishing all contact surfaces between trigger, sear and hammer. With the spring tension dialed all the way down, the cocked pistol passes my bump tests but a sloppy/short bolt pull can cause the sear to not engage. I currently have it dialed up to the lightest possible trigger that still has reliable sear engagement. Increase or decrease as you wish.
I added the brake (with a shortened pin to match the LPA MIM sight) because the stock front sight was slightly misaligned. That appears to be typical. It's harmless, but it bugged me. You'll get the brake (installed) and the original sight in case you want the wider front blade.
I'm asking $150 elsewhere, so that's the approximate trade value I'm interested in. That's a typical range for MRL/Windlass Deal of the Day swords, so those and Hanwei-Tinker blades are good prospects. Here's what I'm looking for:
