Show us your sword display!
You know, something more interesting than the inside of a gun case or closet, or a nail on the wall. Eric Lu's fantastic holder comes to mind http://www.myArmoury.com/talk/viewtopic.php?t...p;start=35

David Lewis Smith's epic Albion and Tulwar set ups also.

I suppose Katana kake is pretty standard, or the dojo-style wall pegs. The P.O.B stands are cool though.

I'm thinking about getting/making a glass-less shadowbox for my Neil Burridge Ewart Park sword, something to set off the bronze but also make it easy to take out and handle. I need to figure out more about this.

Everything I have needs better storage/display study because of my 3-y.o....!!! So maybe I can rob the ideas of my betters through this thread. (again, besides the gun case which really isn't much for display.)
Well my Japanese display would be horrible when a 3-year old child is running around. But I like my own "Japanese wall" so much I'll share it. :)

Very nice Jussi, I'm jealous! A very nice representation of lots of different eras and styles that I can see. What do you have on the tachi kake? Looks maybe a little bigger than a typical tachi! And do you own the naginata in the top paper? Both nice paper, good idea for the display.

Regards, Kem
This is my usual submission, though I really need to update it now. I keep my assorted swords in a cast iron umbrella stand: it's not perfect as it needs a few rough edges dealing with, but overall I like it and it keeps my swords nicely corralled.

Simple racks for now, I have plans for something nicer in the future...

They look much nicer photographed properly!

The Search function should find a number of threads on this topic.
Bizarre, I had done a search function (believe me I try to scour the archives), but did not come up with the 39 pages of topics I did this time. Very well, ignore this space I guess.
