Question Hello Thomas,
recently i was lucky enough to get my hands on a piece you had a while back,
it's the Randal Graham baskethilt, love this sword and scabbard,
my question is,
is the hilt dismountable, i would not want to risk damaging this fine sword,
i did ask alan but he was not sure but he was also interested to know,
thanks in advance,
congrats on your new claymore, very nice to say the least,
lee.

Hi Lee

Yes, the hilt is dismountable ! The pommel is loosened by turning it counter-clockwise , as the tang is threaded !
( just be sure and potect it with thick tape, or cloth, before using a tool to grip it ! )

I did repond to your e-mail , awhile back , but my reply bounced back to me as undeliverable ?

Thank you , and congrats to you also ..... a very nice piece you've acquired !
Any more questions just let me know ......

Happy Hi Thomas,
Many thanks,
I am very happy to have this piece,a while back i remember reading you said you let go a few things that you regretted for one reason or another and to me this sword was the first to spring to mind, alway's been a big fan of Randal's work but there alway's seemed to be sold sign when something turned up,it also brought a big grin to hear a while back that he was on the mend after not being well.Thank's to whoever posted that new's all good new's well received.
So far it's top of the pile but competition coming next month from Rob Miller of Castle Keep,i will make sure to post some pics as Rob's work does not seem to get seen so often and i know there's a few out there that would like to see more,
On the e,mail i think it was around the time of that blaster worm virus,
according to my server they were hit pretty hard.
Thank's again,
lee.
