For Sale: Albion Vigil

This is a sword that I really like, although I've only owned it very briefly. I got big plans of getting scabbard for it from Tod's Stuff, but I have to sell this to fund my future nihonto purchases.

I got the sword by trade for Japanese style replica swords, this sword has never been used for cutting, but the hilt shows signs of dry handling, and there is surface rust on the pommel. As well as couple small rust spots near the guard and at the very tip. You can read my overall feelings of this sword here: http://www.sword-forum.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=20054

Overall length: 97 cm
Blade length: 80,8 cm
Blade width at guard: 5,95 cm
Blade width 10cm from tip: 3,85 cm
Blade thickness at guard: 4,6 mm
Blade thickness 10cm from tip: 2,3 mm
Crossguard width: 17 cm
Grip length: 10,6 cm
Weight: 1175 grams
Point of balance: 11,5 cm from guard

The sword is very sharp.

Sorry about poor pictures, I can try to take better ones without a flash, as flash makes that surface rust really pop out more than it shows in reality.

Asking price is 750€ and that covers the shipping inside Europe. Payment Methods would be bank transfer or Paypal (as I will cover the shipping, I would appreciate if you'd cover the Paypal fee).

I will be shipping this in it's original box.

If you have questions just ask, and I'll try to answer as well as I can.

Bumping back to top. I won't be able to buy a nihonto anytime soon, but this one still needs to go. Bit over 400€ cheaper than new one, so I think that is enough compensation for the small condition issues. :)

Bumping this back to top. I'm bit amazed how little interest this has created, guess single handers aren't as trendy as hand and halfs are. :)
