I was computer window shopping, and ran across this pauldron
I've never heard of them before, and I was surprised at the price point at nearly $200 per shoulder...
Has anyone dealt with them? What was your experience? Also, any thoughts on the quality of the armor pieces? Specifically the pauldron linked to, and some of the breastplates/cuirasses.

Fine for fantasy stuff where you might get some heavy latex on you but very little basis in reality aside from its made of metal and kind of fits on your shoulder and upper arm.
any seller that uses this pic to advertise goods

should be treated with extreme caution. They also sell porcelain fairy dolls and describe a barbute thus:
Quote: | Venetian sallet (barbute) derived from the pelvis, but always without camaglio. Attached to the head marked by a rib midway between the hairline and neck. |
So even taking into account problems with translation, (they are based in italy so shipping costs would be pricey to the US) I'd avoid. No idea about reliability, delivery schedules etc, but their stuff falls way short of what I'd be wanting to spend money on.
Currently working on projects ranging from Elizabethan pageants to a WW1 Tank, Victorian fairgrounds 1066 events and more. Oh and we joust loads!.. We run over 250 events for English Heritage each year plus many others for Historic Royal Palaces, Historic Scotland, the National Trust and more. If you live in the UK and are interested in working for us just drop us a line with a cv.
