I am looking for patterns for a mid/late 15c. puff-sleeved gambesons/aketons. Like the ones seen at Companie of St. George's homepage; http://www.companie-of-st-george.ch/images/pictures/2men_mist.jpg

While it is relativly easy to find patterns for 14c./early 15c. gambesons/aketons, I have failed in finding anyting usefull for mid/late 15c.

The mid/late 15c. puff-sleeved gambesons/aketons provide a much better freedom of movement when fighting with 1½-handed sword (which is my primary weapon at the time).

I am planning to combine the gambeson/aketon with a mid. 15c. ital-gothic breast-plate, a pair og articulated gauntlets (primarely for safety - I have already got one smashed knuckle) and an open faced salade or barbute.

I am only interested in patterns, not offers for finished gambesons/aketons for sale - I have, after much effort, persuaded my mother into promising to make me one (mothers - gotta' love 'em) Big Grin

Thank you in advance

Regards

Jakob
