My girlfriend is okay with them but like others said shes more into wanting to save money. She will go and dress up to ren faires with me and sometimes comes and watches my sword fighting training. She will even sword fight with me with wooden swords and will carry a dagger at the faires. Like I said the buying of the swords is where shes a little tougher. If I see a sword at a ren faire, she would rather me not buy it or at least get it online for cheaper. Shes also all for decorating the house and is even ok with letting me have my own medieval man cave so I guess I'm pretty lucky.

My girlfriend and I actually bought each other wasters for our first Valentine's Day together, which should tell you something. She's dabbled in HEMA now and again, but mostly did Kendo, and now has taken up Singlestick (which I'm more than ok with). She also doesn't mind splurging on nice things, which I guess means someday we'll have a poor but very well-armed household.
