Anyone here have any experience with Hanwei blade dis-assembly on their Basket Hilts? I assume these are a screw on pommel and not peened, there is no sign of a real peen there but I cannot get the apple type pommel to budge and I am wondering how others have got these dis-assembled in the past?
I want to tighten up the grip on mine and also examine the tang, I am also considering using a longer blade for Silver and various backsword systems but before I can do that I need to see how this thing is put together through the tang to the pommel.
Any help or ideas gets you a jar of free imaginary mead!
Cheers!

All good , figured it out on my own ... I will leave this here for anyone else wondering. The small tip that pokes out from the end of the apple pommel, that is what you want to unscrew in an ACW direction, don't try turning the entire apple section of the pommel, it won't budge.
Cheers.
