- 88 cm diameter
- 6 kg weigh
- larch wood planks circa 12mm thick
- covered with 2 layers of linenen fabric (red colour outside) with leather glue
- hand raised shield-boss 2mm thick
- the edge covered with hard leather

well. it's not exactly replica of any artefact ...it's just the shield in viking style ...
yes ,there're nonparalel planks but most importand thing is the structure of wood ...I mean the layers within planks ...I don't know how does it call in English ?
the structure layers of the wood are not parallel ...so, the planks are not parallel
