I am looking for any information or picture of Monglian knives. Either military or civilain is fine. I have seen a few pictures of them but am drawing blank on were to look to get more information like how were they worn, what kind of variation is there. Looking for picture or any other resource that would talk about them.
As for a time period, well any would be good but particlualy interested in the time of the Golden Horde. I believe that Chinese knives of the period are similiar so those would be good as well.
I am looking to make one for my wife and would like some some actual knives to base it on.

I am not sure where to find information on Mongol knives nowadays, Joel.

One (probably) Mongolian knife here: http://www.myArmoury.com/talk/viewtopic.php?p=259088#259088 and some discussion and link to more.
