Warg Tooth
Happy Holidays everyone! Well Santa came yesterday and he left me this seax. She was created by a brilliant young smith named Luke Shearer. Luke has gotten very good feedback from some other artists that I really respect like Petr.

Anyway, early this summer I saw this seax he was making and arranged to purchase it. When finished it went straight to George Ezell who created this sheath for it. Great work to set off the knife. Another highly recommended craftsman!

The Seax is named Warg Tooth, which I will change to a slightly more Anglo Saxon version. The work strongly reminds me of Owen Bush’s work and has a Kentish Notch along the spine. The blade is 11 inches long.

That's really quite nice. I love the blades profile and the carving really sets it off.
Outstanding work! The blade would hilt up Texas-style as a Bowie knife and be fabulous. Merry Christmas to you!....McM
the wood carving is nice even though its small its very well done. thin line are so hard to keep uniform.
