Does anyone have any pictures and/or text describing the tailoring of of shirts from this period? when i finish my first Hauberk i want to do a rivetted iron wire one with correct contraction and expansions. Does anyone have any advice?

The only guide I know of online that has info on contractions is found here:

The contraction part is just at the end of the article and claims to be from number A2 shirt from Wallace collection. I don't know from what time period that is, but maybe someone can fill in. And you may want to check the "references and further reading" -part on that page too.
