My Collection in its Current State
My Current Collection

Earlier collection threads and pics contain a lot of retired pieces . Some of my current pieces haven't been documented by me . For these reasons(and insurance purposes I decided to take pics of my edged weapon collection today.

A couple of these are just guests passing through , but the majority are "essentials " that will last as long as I do.

Those that have reviews have links to said reviews.

My friend Doho of Yorkshire was on hand to help me .

Nice collection Marc.
Wow! That's an impressive collection! I love that Lundemo sabre! The Phat Bastard is awesome too. I almost bought one a few years ago and seeing that pic makes me regret not doing so a little bit.
Your dog made me laugh too. "There are Banthas down there but I don't see any Sand People..." is all I could think. :) ;)
An attractive collection ... beautifully photographed, too ... as I think is customary from
you, MR ...

I've always felt oddly challenged when trying to photograph my Japanese-style blades.
For all the attributes and details that make even non-Japanese " Japanese-style " swords
quite unique, their overall " generic and traditional " shape -- if you follow me -- can make
one look and appear little different from another to an untrained eye ...

Not that my eye is so well trained mind you ...

It does look like your Photography Assistant ALSO approves ... B-)
Thanks Bill... It is a pitiful compared to your collection

Tim,. thank you ... You really ought to get your hands on a PB ... they are incredible.

Matthew , Your eye is pretty damn well trained IMHO

Edited to add a picture I missed (XIIIa and Moonbrand)
Nicely Done as always Marc

Though having a wee little dog in the back ground had me looking for a pair of ruby slippers
I'm confused by the Albion Maestro Line Sovereign. Since when did that model have a Maestro Line version? Did Sonny blunt it for you?

Sorry ... not Maestro . Museum...

Sonny actually made it a sharp... but not for me , for Sarge...

Here is the original thread.

I'd just call it a mis-marked NG, that was bought blunted, then sharpened later. The only thing Museum line about it is the mark, which seems to be a simple mistake. :)

I too have a Sovereign with a Museum Line Makers Mark. It was one of the first ones made by Albion. I had figured that it was the only one so mis-marked. Guess not.
