Late Roman Spatha made by Darksword Armoury. Hardwood and Pewter Grip with tapered and fullered, unsharpened blade. Blade length: 29 1/2 inches.
Blade width 1 7/16 inches. Grip: 8 inches. Overall length 37 1/2 inches. Weight appr. 3 lb. Point of balance 3 3/4 inches from guard. Hardwood scabbard with
leather ring suspension.

Darksword Armoury no longer makes this sword. In any case the standard model had a leaf blade. This one with a tapered, fullered blade was a custom order. Excellent condition. Never used. Although it originally cost considerably more, asking $250 US plus shipping.
