Finally I found the definitive depiction that proves that bascinets were worn under great helms. Yes, it's a visored one, but still counts, does it Big Grin ?

Hm, honestly, it looks more like visored bascinet than greathelm to me...

I consider it a great helm because of the presence of those orizotal lines on the back of the helm, that in my opinion suggest a multiple plates construction.
