I have three A&A axes (Danish, Type L and Type B) - very happy with them. I'm tempted by that large Type L, but saving up for other (A&A) things.

In regard to prices, how much will they be going up? It wasn't clear on the website. Across the board increase or variable?

Hi Aaron

Sorry I missed this earlier. It will be a bit different for each item but most will be at least 10%, some more. We have been locked down on our prices long enough we are having to compensate for some of our suppliers having raised prices on us twice since our last increase.

I hope to have the prices up soon, but lots to do so I am not sure of the exact time line. I will give everyone the hard date as soon as it is set.

Best

Craig

Gorgeous axes and rondel, do you have the weight for all three?

I notified on the Kult of Athena website they are selling an Arms & Armor Celtic Spear, is this a new addition to the A&A range? I couldn't find anything about in on the website.

Here's the link:

http://kultofathena.com/product.asp?item=AA800

If this is a new addition, is it based on an archaeological find?

Thanks

Danny

Hi Danny

I do not have the weights, sorry. They have shipped already and if I had to guess it would be a pound and a half on the medium type L and the rondel probably under a pound?

The spear is one we did for a price poiint at fairs and folks liked a lot but basically do not make much on. I am not sure if we will offer it rgularly or not should have that figured in a few days. Had some left from the fair run and Ryan had expressed some interest so at the moment Kult of Athena is the place to get one.

The style is pretty common through out history. I am not sure on the exact one that inspired this but I would say one could find an example in most periods that would be indistinguishable.

Best
Craig

Craig,
The link states that the hilt is steel - wrapped with leather - on this sword ?
I assume that is a typo ?

Hi Mike

The winner was a Mr M Beeching. I do not think he is on the forum but he was very happy about winning the sword and it is now in the truck on the way to him. We had a great response and will most likely do similar events in the future. The swords have garnered quite a bit of interest from folks and they are up on the webpage for purchase if any one is interested. They are an immediate ship item at the moment Happy

We want to thank everyone for their interest and participation we just wish we where a bit more funded like Santa so we could give everyone a gift for Christmas Cool

Have a great night
Craig

PS Luka, Sorry you missed the fun you can see what we had going last week here on our news page.
