Hi, iam a german based Knifemaker near the danish border and reading this site since e few years. Now Somthing strange happens, I have got a question and Google cant give me a answer Oo
A college has a Sword/Knife/Dagger of unknown origin and has asked me if I know anything. I dont.
But I think here are People who may be.
So if you have any suggestion, t would be great.

That's a 19th century german artillery shortsword. Take a closer looks to the markings on the guard:
