Kazakevičius V. IX-XIII a. Baltu kalavijay
Good Morning,

I just received my newest sword book, the one in the title. There are a few English pages and good maps showing the location of the finds. There are a few very unusual types that don't fit the standard classifications.

Anyway, it appears that the entire book is online.

Free E book on Swords
Not sure why a free ebook on swords, doesn't fit into the historical section considering what is there, but you may want to check it out in its new location.
Looks interesting..must download it, despite most of info being in mid-european lanuage :)
Book
True, that is a problem, but the maps have the type of sword shown beside each.

The Historical Arms Talk forum is for discussions about historical arms and armour not for discussions about books or links to ebooks. At myArmoury, even the Off-topic is still for stuff related to arms and armour, so a move is not a condemnation of its content, but is rather a confirmation of its relevancy.

Rest assured, we move things for very good reasons.

Thanks for posting this Robert. The drawings alone are fantastic. The Lithuanian stuff is very cool. I have always loved the short single edged antennae hilted swords that they made. The drawing of the type Z single edged one has me captivated. I have a full color pic of it's hilt but hadn't seen the blade somehow even though I have had this PDF for a while. I'm not sure how I missed that page... It might be my next piece to have made. So, so cool!!!
