I am selling this signed Nobumitsu gunto, dated 1945. It is a type 3 and was restored by Thomas L. Buck, including red lacquer on the tsuka ito, a rare but documented practice. The blade is very healthy but might need a polish to get it back into proper shape. The saya is also very interesting, it is a standard iron model but covered with a unique wool and leather pouch. It also comes with a wooden saya and sageo. It is a monosteel showa stamped piece and has some small pits which would polish out nicely.

I am asking 1200$ for it, wich is a very fair price considering the amount of work put into it. If you have any questions or need more pictures do not hesitate to ask me. The price is negotiable.
