Very very fine work ! You have truly understood the Norse ornament and have a very educated eye for the shapes of viking blades...there are unfortunately many viking sword "replicas" that fall short on capturing this. A sword fit for a King !
congratulations !

Gorgeous! Great work Jeff. Although the buckle looks a bit modern. The tooling of the leather is just gorgeous. Congrats to whoever bought it!

Beautiful work Jeff= just great,
And, as far as I know, among the first modern scabbard to employ inlay and "maybe" iron instead of steel.
Congratulations on a phenomenal package.

Late to the party, but that grip really is beautiful. The sword looks amazing, very nice.

Holy cow,
Matching inlays on the scabbard fittings, not to mention the crisp leather tooling. Absolutely awesome stuff Jeff.

Thanks for the comments guys! All of the iron used in the piece is from salvaged wrought.

Actually there is one very little thing, I'm surprised by the very plain design of the buckle (looks oddly contemporary to me) especially considering the astounding details elsewhere on the package. Is it an historical design?

A great finishing touch. I think that new buckle fits the bill perfectly.
Bravo Jeff.
